Perry has an idea!

Well, well, well...the saga of Perry the Political Animal continues Why didn't he just give up while he was ahead? He made a huge blunder though. Instead of just letting the committee do his dirty work and leaving good enough alone, Perry saw an opportunity to try and smooch a little more fanny. He could appease the Big Cheese and Big Cheese's wife, he could stay in J's good graces in case he needed him in the future (Political Animals are always looking down the road to see where you might benefit them), and he could keep all the people who didn't want to see the HH die happy. Score for Perry, right?

Greetings diane:

Your recent letter sent to the Big Cheese was presented to the Administrative Committee recently.

Thanks so much for sharing with us your ministry interaction with individuals who receive the HH. I too have had the opportunity to relate with prisoners who were ministered to through the HH, as I have personally visited San Quinton and other institutions who were receiving the HH monthly. I appreciate so very much your commitment to minister through the HH not only as Editor but as a caring compassionate person for people who are cut away from society.

The Secretary to the Administrative Committee, Randall the Patronizer, has already communicated with you regarding the Committee decision. On an up note, at such time that funding for this ministry would come through an individual donor or several donors, we could once again do what we can at the International Office to help facilitate this ministry.

Just thinking out loud--do you feel as an alternative to printing the HH we could effectively communicate through the internet with people in institutions we are presently serving? I am not sure all institutions and individuals have access to a computer. Please give this some study and thought. I look forward to hearing from you. If this is not a viable option, please let me hear from you regarding your understanding of a timetable for the final month of payment for your Editorial services.

On a personal note, our relationship with you guys is valuable and important to me and E. J and I through the years as well as presently have had so many wonderful times together in ministry work.

Blessings on you and family! I look forward to hearing from you soon...

Perry the Political Animal

The Internet, huh? Gee, that sounds oddly familiar. Sounds interestingly like an idea J planted months ago. Anyway, this letter was followed by a phone call. I'll get into that in a later post since the baby is wailing and it looks like my alotted D'land time is about up. And there are clothes to be ironed...still!
