"A wise woman--an admired mother and wife--when asked
how, with her weak physical health and many demands upon her
time, she managed to read so much, said, 'Besides my Bible, I
always keep books going that are just for me--a stiff book, a
moderately easy book, and a novel, and I always take up the one
I feel fit for.'"

Oh, the rewards of motherhood!

Last night's dinner was wonderful, and so was the dessert. Shau fixed chicken fajitas and Han fixed homemade brownies. Delicious! Being a mom isn't always a thankless job! However, I do recall those days when they were all very small and it seemed like all I did was run to the bathroom in answer to calls of "Mommy, come wipe me!" I wondered then if it would all pay off one day, and I'm pleased to announce that it actually has. I just got a call from Shau who is getting her hair cut and highlighted and is about ready for me to pick her up. She's all about having good hair and I figure that it's a small price to pay for a live-in chef/masseuse/babysitter/computer tech. Well, my moment of gloating got cut short; good thing. If I had been able to keep on you all would have hated me!
